What to Expect on Your First Visit to MPS?

On your first visit at Midwest Pain Solutions (MPS), you can expect a very welcoming and friendly environment. As you enter, you’ll notice the beautiful decorations that my mother Dr. Reva Draeger has accumulated throughout the years. She loves all things antiques and decorated the clinic with a sophisticated touch from a bygone era. The antiques work well in contrast with the modern layout of the clinic. This is a very sub-par description of this beautiful clinic but that is why we have pictures! You can check them out on our Facebook page or website

Your First Visit With Our Doctor in Green Bay

The first visit is always a no-cost consultation and is just a time where you and I (Dr. Jackson) sit down and talk through what’s been bothering you (neck, low back, shoulder, mid-back, elbows, wrists, fingers, hips, knees, ankles, feet). Most people have stories of original injuries or the first time they felt the pain. The more information that you can provide me makes the diagnosis and transition into treatment much easier. I will also ask you more direct questions such as:

  • What type of pain?
  • Does it travel anywhere?
  • What activities are harder with your condition?

One thing you should know is I don’t treat conditions based on a “1-10 scale”: I treat conditions on the “can I get you back doing the things you want to do?”’ scale.

Your Path To a Customized Treatment Plan

At the end of the first visit I will take you through what we do at MPS to get you better based on your condition. I cannot make a diagnosis or a treatment plan based on health history alone so at the end of the first visit we will schedule a physical exam and request/perform up-to-date imaging. The first appointment is about 20-30 minutes long and if we agree that we are a match to work with we will head into the second appointment!
